About

Senior Lecturer in the Department of Insurance and Risk Management, University of Uyo, Nigeria. A financial mathematician specialising in climate finance, extreme value theory, and disability inclusive policy design.

Dr. Chukwudum's research examines how systemic exclusion compounds climate vulnerability, with particular focus on persons with disabilities in Sub Saharan Africa. Work published in 37 peer reviewed journals including Sustainability (MDPI), Environmental Modeling and Assessment (Springer), South African Journal of Science. Research cited in Nature npj Climate Action and featured on Springer impact research page on climate variability and water resource management in Africa.

Beyond the academy: a musician, songwriter, and music producer. A new album releases in May 2026, building on Ever Classic (her 10 track debut, 2009).
